Am so obsessed with this look, so much in fact that I've incorporated some aspects into my own . Especially when it comes to makeup .Achieving this style is actually very simple and I feel it's a great idea to wear this look out on valentines day. you would like to give it a try, here is a step by step guide on how to recreate this look.
You will need-for eyes-black mascara, black liquid or gel liner, fake lashes(if desired),eyelash curler,eyeshadow-neutral ,dark brown or grey. 006ab2839675061ca61cc0ed765f0424 For lips- A bright red lipstick 69e0f9ced552417ad027ff2201185892 Step 1:You must start off with a clean canvas.by that I mean a clean and moisturised face,If you want that supple skin.(exfoliate for a better result).then apply your face primer. Step 2 :Do not cake on the foundation. Not only is it terrible for your pores, heavy face makeup takes away from your "natural" beauty. I'm not saying go bare, just use something light. You can use a tinted moisturiser or a lightweight foundation that won't clog your pores. You will need a well groomed brows for this look.so emphasis your eye brows with an eyebrow pencil.create a solid defined line with the pencil, then fill it in. Step 3:Okay, so now that you have a thin layer of foundation, lets try to achieve that "Marilyn Monroe stare." You will be amazed at the simplicity of this. Apply a matte color neutral eyeshadow, blend towards the crease.remember, the key to lovely and beautiful eyes is blending, blend, blend and blend. Then contour with a darker neutral colour(preferably, brown),blend. Now, with a black liner, could be pencil or liquid or gel liner , line your top lid. When you get to the outter corners of your eyes, gradually extend your pencil a few centimeters upward (depending on your eyes/face shape ). The goal here is to achieve what we call the"cat eyes," This slight lifted extension of the pencil is characteristically pin up. Step 4:Apply 2-3 coats of mascara,if you don't wear false lashes..The goal here is bold, flirty lashes.but for extra point, try applying false lashes.Depending on your personality, this eye makeup style will either read: mysterious or playful. Step 5:bright red lipstick is definitely a yesif you want the pinup look.lip colour should be as dark and deep red as your skin tone allows.moisturise lips with a lip balm, then, line lips in the same colour as your lipstick.outline to the very edge and if you have thin lips, outline slightly beyond your lip line, you want to have the fullest lips you can.blush and contour lightly to avoid too many details on face. And you are ready to go out on a date. Extra tips-Wear this look with a pinup hair do by clipping your hair up with bobby pins or as desired.and a well manicured nails in red...the key to this look is confidence.the pinup look is a drawn inspiraton from the 1940s and 50s.Elizabeth tailor,Marilyn Monroe,Betty Gable all provide stunning examples.so go out there and enjoy being the envy of many. valkemi

Red means different things to different people. it could mean Danger, Blood, Colour of Love. But then that’s none of my business.

Ok now….let me be daring asking this ; Kemi Shona will you be my Val?
