The Kritikal Buzz with Dami B & DJ Xplizitsouljah- 10

Hot Buzz- (Veteran Artists)- Pasuma- Ogede Ti Pon Dami B: Ok, so when I first clicked play I did not expect what I saw? So Pasuma is 'thuggin' now?? DJ Xplizitsouljah: As far as thuggin’ goes I wouldn't really say it like that but more like found his hip hop side. I didn't see him going in this direction musically/visually, but then again I suppose he wants to try new things right, it's a new year afterall! DJ Xplizitsouljah: And to be very honest this is a hip hop video which obviously he had no control over. It was basically unlimited la from top to bottom I'm sure all Pasuma did was state his desire and everything was provided for him Dami B: Yes, some would say that this video has Unlimited LA all over it, same theme of the crown behind and the performer in front....... crowd* Dami B: However, I do rate the guests he had feature in this like , Jaywon and of course my girl Tipsy holding it down! DJ Xplizitsouljah: The cameos all attest to the direction of the song. The problem for me is the rap verses in the song They provide the chronic case of cringe. DJ Xplizitsouljah: Whoever wrote the verses is a whack writer whom should never have been employed. However, Pasuma can sing and you can still hear the Fuji effect in the hook Dami B: The hook was the ONLY thing I heard there.....it's very catchy but I agree the rest of the song/lyrics are just weak…. DJ Xplizitsouljah: So as much as the video though typical of Unlimited LA is great, the musical dumbs it down a lot…. Dami B: I have to take a u-turn right here, I like the dark grungy ghetto theme of this visual.....but I just don't like it for Pasuma.....but kudos to him for trying to diversify his portfolio.... DJ Xplizitsouljah: Going by the sound I'm comfy with the video direction but the lyrical depth of the song is easily noticeable based on Pasuma. DJ Xplizitsouljah: This is why I can only gift this video 5 out of 10 slaps (5/10). The video is clean and crisp but also very typical of the director and the rap verses takes a big chunk off the potential of the video. Dami B: The visuals are crisp and great quality, this video could contest with any Western/American Hip Hop video out there! I like the video objectively but I don't like the artist within it for this particular genre, therefore I give this a rating of 7/10. Pasuma go back to making to Fuji magic and AfroPop! Fresh Buzz- (Bubbling Up Artists)- Praiz- Heartbeat Dami B:This is a song with great vocal delivery right here! Mixing RnB with Afropop....Praiz always stays true to himself. Now to the visuals, WOW, stunning setting. Miami couldn't have been more perfect for this love crooner! DJ Xplizitsouljah: Shot on location in Miami, the music more than anything is what got me. Then the serene environment and the beautiful supermodel really made the video pleasurable. Dami B: Yes I agree, the supermodel/lead girl is gorgeous too! Another example of Nigerians constantly raising the threshold for quality videos. We are so close to taking over the international music scene. I'm happy to see this! DJ Xplizitsouljah: Praiz has got that soul when he sings but to hear soul on a 'Shoki' beat and it comes out very nice is just a dream. I played this a few times just to hear the music and let my imagination connect with the visuals I like the fact that the video is not unnecessarily busy and it soothes the eyes just as the music soothes the ears and minds. Dami B: There is little to fault about this video, it's well connected to the song for me. Praiz looks Hot, the sea looks amazing, the few scenes are simple but effective and the location was on point. Crisp and clear and so I award this a rare 10/10! DJ Xplizitsouljah: I would gift this video a 9 out of 10 slaps (9/10) only because there isn't any good shoki dances that stood out. The shoki dance that us visible isn't effective but everything else is just perfect.   Xtra Buzz- A-Q: Counting My Blessings Dami B: Ok, this video for me is the Three C's- Creative, Clever and Cool!! I don't know much about the director Christopher Kingston but I am now a fan! DJ Xplizitsouljah: I think the first thing that hit me is the fact that AQ is going on an Afro-House beat but he brings the lyrics still which makes it even better! Dami B: Yes, I noticed the 'Afrohouse' element as you called it. An exciting genre you've introduced to me, that I will now be following closely. DJ Xplizitsouljah: The chroma type video is very clever and allows AQ to fool around with images and graphics hence it's easier to create without the logistics factor hindering. Dami B: I agree, this video reminds of Kanye West ft T-Pain- Good Life. I loved the relevant imagery used to take on his journey and follow his story. Throwing in some of the key lyrics of the song here and there was great. This kid is talented! There was also a cute Toolz Oniru look-alike in it too! Lol, I thought it was her for a second! DJ Xplizitsouljah: Yh, I noticed her,…I'm with the idea of making the video not too serious so it works a great deal. There are quite a few fans that would need to adjust to the direction of the sound this music travels in especially the rap addict fans of AQ. Dami B: For me, it's a cool song with a great concept. I've never really been a fan of A-Q....until now. Apart from the creative graphics, AQ's flow is somewhat different from what you come by from the majority of Nigerian A-list rappers. Dami B: So I rate this video as 9/10 and look forward to more original and exciting visuals from both AQ and Christopher Kingston. DJ Xplizitsouljah: It's a busy video but a fun video too and no clichés which is the one thing I would have thought would be employed for views. This is why I would award this video 8 out of 10 (8/10). IMG_20141223_154244

I Don’t Think Pasuma Can Fit Into The World Of Hip Hop! Smh For Him.Its Better For Him To Realize That Early For Him Not To Become A Laughing Stock

Wow… I think the Kritikal buzzers weren’t exactly too critical today save for the fact that they really gave Pasuma’s new style and video a real plummelling, i won’t be apologetic though because it surely deserved such a rating. As for the others, I would say the critics were just on the perfect powerpoint on rating but i’ll give DJ XplizitSouljah the slightest of upper hands over the adorable DamiB on today’s performance. Sorry…babes! I had to be really honest on this one….*winks*

After going through all the points DJ Xplizitsouljah and Dami B stated,i have to put this in it Xplizitsouljah and Dami B since you noticed some places Pasuma is lacking behind,i will urge you people to be as a Godfather to him, like you suggest and advice him,see so!so places is not normal but if you do this one it will be perfect just carry him along you will see withing a short time pasuma will be excellent in hip hop.

Exploring in uncharted teritorry could be disaterious at times!
Its best for pasuma to just leave the scene of hiphop for a while and pop back up again and do so often.
But the fact still remain that he should work on fuji better and just slot this track inbetween just for show off,
Its a new year anyways but he needs an advicer sha.
