Is T.I. some sort of Hip Hop mediator? He definitely just put on his cape after things got out of hand between Snoop Dogg and Iggy Azalea.
In case you missed it, last night Snoop took to Instagram
and posted a series of threatening tweets aimed at Iggy, while calling her all types of
cunts, b-tches and hoes. But this morning, he had a change of heart and took to Instagram to reveal that he had received a call from T.I. and the beef with Iggy is officially over:
Hey boys and girls. I just got off the phone with my homeboy Tip, the king of Atlanta, and it’s officially over. No more bad talk. I apologize. Yeah I apologize. I’m sorry. I won’t do it again.
It’s over I’m back on my cool sh-t no harm no foul. #ifitaintaboutthemuch love @troubleman31trespect sorry bout that
Iggy gracefully accepted his apology and tweeted that she now hopes to shift away from all the negativity.
I appreciate the apology @snoopdogg Let that be that people, time to focus on the positive things I’ve got going on. no time to dwell on the negative.
As we’ve been reporting, earlier this week, Snoop posted a picture of an Albino woman with the words “Iggy Azalea with no make up” written on it. Iggy took offense to the image and called Snoop out for being an a$$ and questioned why he
was acting brand new
as if they weren’t on friendly terms. Uncle Snoop proceeded to cyber bully Iggy with as many as 20 disrespectful posts
on Instagram directed towards her and her boyfriend
, Los Angeles Laker Nick Young
It’s great this is finally over because two wrongs never make a right.
Rappers may also need to have T.I. on speed dial next time they’re in a similar situation. Between ending this “beef,” resolving Rick Ross and Jeezy’s feud, as well as The Game’s beef with a Chicago rap duo, T.I.’s looking like a professional hip hop negotiator. Oh, and let’s not forget that one time he talked a guy out of jumping off of a ledge
