Gunmen struck in Nasarawa State early yesterday, killing Governor Umaru Tanko Al-makura’s head driver, Abdullahi Ozegya Mairuwa.
The late Mairuwa, who was in charge of all drivers attached to Government House, Lafia, was travelling to his hometown in Keana Local Government Area in company with his wife, Salamatu Abdullahi, when they were waylaid and the husband killed close to Tudun Adabu area of the state about 8.30 am.
