It's almost impossible to say that you have never wanted or wished you own an outfit you saw either in a magazine on a friend or on your favourite celeb. A lot of the time you don't even know where to begin with this your fashion impression. That's why I'm sharing my copycat process with you.
1 Pick the outfit: there's a million and one outfits that catch my eye every now and again but I realise that not all of them are appropriate for my frame so I focus on more flattering looks and share others with my sister (for real though)
2 Try not to be over ambitious: pick something you can easily recreate with pieces you already own. Please NOTE that You don't have to go out and buy every single item.It doesn't have to be the exact colour or print.Focus on styles and shapes e.g. In the picture below I did not have a printed play suit so I substituted with a plain one that has the same shape and fit.
3 Play around with it: sometimes it won't look exactly the same as the one you copied when you try to recreate it .That's not at all bad, just think of it as a frame or base for creating your perfect outfit and switch it up till its suits you. Afterall no two bodies are alike.
4. Show a friend who will tell you the truth about how it looks. In my case, i show my sister (she's really cool like that)
5 ) Take a picture. Click click click
Now let's ransack that wardrobe and create new looks ..
