Cue her experience with finding Gold in Shea butter
I’m a lover of good scents so the normal Shea butter wasn’t quite enough for me. I needed something tosatisfy all the qualities of a good body butter i.e. moisturizing, smoothing, healing and great smell. Here is what I did, I made a Shea body balm.
SHEA BUTTER BODY BALM RECIPE
2 CUPS OF RAW SHEA BUTTER (Sophie’s bath&body unrefined shea butter)
½ CUP OF COCONUT OIL
1 CUP OF NATURAL BEESWAX
2 TEASPOONS OF VANILLA FRAGRANCE OIL
In a double boiler (put a pan over/in a pot filled with water and bring it to boil over low heat)
Melt the shea butter and beeswax. The beeswax takes a while to melt so don’t be scared you’re still good.Once that’s melted add the coconut oil, stir and bring it down. Add the vanilla fragrance oil and pour the mixture into a container and leave to cool.I hope you have as great an experience as i am. –SophieTheMUA
