American Rapper Nas Hit With A Lawsuit From M.I. Abaga And Chocolate City

Revered Nigerian rapper and his record label have slammed a on American rapper Nas.

The lawsuit was slammed on Nas, full name is Nasir Jones by the New York Supreme Court for a breach of contract with MI and Chocolate City.

The New York Supreme Court filed a suit against Nas and Ronnie Goodman of Mass Appeal Records for duping the Nigerian rapper and his label of the some of $50,000 which was money paid for a verse from Nas.

According to the lawsuit, in 2013, Nas and Goodman entered an agreement to contribute a verse to a track from M.I. The details of the deal were that Nas was supposed to mention "M.I, Chocolate City, Nigeria, Queens, New York—NAS's hometown—, Mandela, Trayvon Martin, and the struggles of Africans and African Americans" in his verse.

Since the arrangement was made in 2013 up to date Nas has refused to re-record another verse as stipulated by MI and Chocolate City or redunded the $50,000 payment for his verse.
